See-Through Toilet Stalls

(Video Link)

The door to this toilet stall in Vienna's Cafe Diglas is transparent. Step inside, flip a switch, and the door becomes opaque. How does it work? Can you figure it out?

Two people got to it. It's basically an LCD and it's called smartglass. I saw this featured in a movie years ago in which the characters were at a nightclub and there were private rooms that had this capability for people to do, uh, well, whatever.

It is called privacy glass and I have had it in my home for 10 years now. It is basically a liquid crystal flim like that in calculator screens.... pass electricity though the film and it turns opaque.

Get with the times people..... this is not new.... not every remotely new technology.
