I was more just curious, hoping someone who had more experience with Judaism could offer some information. However, I feel some hostility coming from you, which seems rather unwarrented.

As for his mother being Chinese, she could be any Asian race, that wasn't my point. It was more that the Jewishness originated from father.

That may be true in a traditional sense of race or tribe, but I don't think you'll find too many people who will throw a child out of a church, temple, or any faith organization over who his parents are.
