How To Make Vietnamese Coffee

(YouTube link)

Personally, I couldn't drink coffee with sweetened condensed milk -certainly not this much! But the video is interesting, and the music is mesmerizing. The song is "Ding Dong" by Waipod Phetsuphan. -via Boing Boing

A Vietnamese friend of mine took me to a local place where we had this.
I love good coffee and this was coffee heaven. It made me debate if I should keep sweetened condensed milk on hand for all coffee I drink.
Everybody that drinks coffee should give it a try.
BTW the ground of the coffee was pretty fine so it may be best to goto a Vietnamese restaurant first for research before trying it at home.

Vietnamese coffee is extraordinarily strong and requires that much condensed milk to balance it out. The overall result is still much sweeter than average, but the coffee itself is also a lot more bitter than average. It's definitely worth trying if you enjoy coffee.

My husband and I fell in love with this coffee at one of our local Vietnamese restaurants. We were able to find the filters and Nyugen coffee at an Asian market near us. Mmm...good stuff. :)

I've had one but years ago, it was iced and drank in the exotic locale of Weyburn, Saskatchewan. So sweetly delicious, and now I have a craving for one. Off to source one of those little metal coffee doohickey's.
