The Red Bull Downhill race is simple enough: get to the bottom of the steps on Monserrate in Bogotá, Colombia faster than anyone else. Also: not die. Here's a scary video of Marcelo Gutierrez's descent, made all the more frightening by the fact that he didn't win because he didn't go fast enough.

Dizzy. It would have been even better if he had to dodge people.

OBviously he made it down okay, but I found myself wondering if they would ever post footage of someone who didn't quite make the curve and went flying off the mountain.

Obviously, the extra weight of the camera slowed him down. Plus strapping it to his helmet probably ruined his aerodynamics.
