Personal Space, Please

This ingeniously designed public restroom in Hong Kong fits 8 urinals into 2.5 square meters, thus making full use of a limited space. I mean, they could have put in just 2 or 3 urinals, but that would have been wasteful.

If it gets busy in there the guy using the end pot will never be able to get out.

That's why everyone will have to pee in sequence, and for a pre-determined time duration to ensure a smooth flow of traffic in and out of the restroom.

The logistics are, admittedly, tricky.

Codes call out the number of urinals and toilets you need for a building, which is why they didn't go with just 3. It looks like they don't have codes to spacing them out though!
