I knew that the act of repairing high voltage power lines while the juice is still flowing is a dangerous act indeed, but I didn't know the whole operation would play out like an action movie, complete with daring helicopter piloting and awesome uniforms!
It was likewise surprising to discover that these guys use little to no tools when repairing the lines, and they do most of the work with their hands! It really makes you appreciate the dangerous work that goes in to keeping the electricity on tap for us all.
