Our pal Dan Piraro has updated the ubiquitous Slow Children Playing street sign into the modern age. I mean come on, playing? We all know that kids are into texting nowadays!

It's usually adult women who try to commit involuntary suicide under my wheels while texting. I find kids are a little more aware of their surroundings. Perhaps this because they have grown up with texting whereas the adults have learned it later in life?

And of course most blokes don't seem to text.

That's still better than grown adults stareing right at ya while your driving down the street and walking right in front of you .Slammed on my brakes 3 times in 1 block.Atlantic City I'm talkin bout.What a space cadet capitol.

too funny. Just this afternoon I was sitting in a parking lot waiting for my wife, and I was watching kids walk across a crosswalk on a busy road. It's hardly an exageration to say that half of them were texting, a lot of them didn't even look up while walking across the road. Kids these days...

My grandfather, an English teacher, always indicated that if he had slow children he wouldn't go around advertising it . . .
