Social Media Spoof Ads by Milwaukee Public Library

Remember libraries? You know, the place where they have books you can borrow for free?

Well, the Milwaukee Public Library has a pretty nifty ad campaign poking fun at social media while urging you to read a book. Via copyranter.

@Cassandra78 I think you need to get a sense of perspective. It's an advertsing campaign (heard of them?) not somebody giving orders.

Or do you react like that when you see a McDonald's advert? "I'll eat what I wish when I wish you totalitarian get-a-freaking-life burger flippers!!!"? Yeah that's right, it was no more a librarian that wrote these ads than it is a burger flipper who writes the McDonald's ads.

Oh, and I'm with Pratchett on multiple exclamation marks.
