...I worry. What does Galadriel have to do with "There and Back Again"?

I realize there is a lot going on in Middle Earth during "The Hobbit"'s time frame, but I swear if Jackson changes important parts of the story and character motivation to be seen as more exciting....I'm headed towards an aneurysm for sure.

@John Farrier: The books, in this case, are superior to the movie in relation to the actual story (credit where credit is due: the movies are visually as perfect as they could be). The Two Towers *is* rather slow compared to Fellowship, or The Return of the King, but it's important as development for the third book. Try skipping ahead to Return of the King, then going back to read Two Towers later. I promise it's worth it.

My parents and former college roommate did not like LOTR movies either. They were not geeky/nerdy enough I guess. :( I enjoyed them though even though I didn't read the books (don't like to read). I hope The Hobbits movie will be good too!!

Love the books, Love the films and looking forward to this. But...the more times I watch the movies, the more I can't stand Elijah Wood as Frodo. I expect young Bilbo will be better.
