Stipple Portrait Composed of 3.2 Million Dots

A long time ago when I actually created artwork, stipple compositions with fine point pens were among my favorite media. But I never created anything remotely resembling the scale that Miguel Endara does. He duplicated a photocopier portrait of his father with 3.2 million dots. Watch a video of the process at the link.

This process is called pointalism. It actually allows for great control of shadows and depth. I have some work of my own using this method, but it's obviously not even close to as good as this guy's.
