Ed Barbeau, a retired math professor at the University of Toronto, made this object from a single rectangular piece of paper. Can you figure out how he did it? Check the solution at the link.

Haven't seen it for several years, but it's pretty simple. It's all in the presentation, of course. One of those thinking outside of the box things.

I glanced at this and instantly saw what was going on, and was a little confused why this was even "a puzzle". As I looked at it longer, I saw how it could be confusing to people, though.

I guess I've just always been really good at spacial thinking.

@Pile of Pooh. Cut across the fold? No he didn't. When he cut it there was no fold. And not only do the cuts not cross the fold, but the fold doesn't cross the cuts. So clearly you are not a math professor. Indeed, like Pooh, you would seem to have very little brain.
