Rudolph The Red-Nosed Tauntaun

This is what the Empire Strikes Back would have looked like if it was released by stop motion animation pioneers Rankin Bass. The only thing I don't like about this illustration is the thought of Rudolph the Tauntaun getting gutted by Hermey/Han Solo and used as a meat sleeping bag, but at least he comes with a built-in nightlight!

Can we have an artist attribution here? It's only right if you're going to publish their stuff. And perhaps they have other items in the series?

Luke's Tauntaun was never gutted via lightsaber. That was Han's. That being said, it was also Han that gutted said meat sleeping bag. Awesome picture though!

okay, none of the posts linked to had the artist's name anywhere, so I did a bit of digging and I'm 90% sure this piece was done by Matt Busch, who normally does some amazingly realistic Star Wars art.

@TED--this isn't copyright infringement. It comes under fair use because it's a parody--though I'm sure a lawyer could still bring it to trail these days. Even Weird Al has to ask permission these days.
