Sports car maker Porsche offers wine bottle chillers that are taken out of old 911 G-series air-cooled engines. Can you find one from a '73 Vega? No, which is a pity, because nothing cools like an aluminum engine block.

Poor-scha's are split case, removable
cylinder engines. Vega's are monoblock
muddy melting monstrosities making min-
imal horsepower. Nothing worse-
except maybe a Crosley brazed block.
We actually found a faulty transmission to be good on ice and snow and when fixed it was hopeless.
