Stay At a Real-Life Hobbit House For $245 a Night

We have featured some posts on real life hobbit houses in the past but now you can rent hobbit house for only $245 a night in Montana. While the exterior is an "authentic" looking replica of the hobbit dwelling, the inside boasts modern human amenities including HD TV and Wi-Fi.  What other houses based on literature and film should be created? What would you stay in?

I've got an old wardrobe with no back in it if anyone wants to pay me some serious money for a semi-authentic Narnia experience. Sadly there's no lion, but my dogs will get amorous with your leg given half a chance.

Yeh, does not look very hobbit-like to me. Plus, I wouldn't want modern amenities inside.

I heard that Peter Jackson kept Bag-End from his movies, and lives in it from time to time. Pretty cool.

@Nick Gisburne: Put that wardrobe out in the snow, and then dress up as a fawn. You got yourself a business running.

I'd love to stay in a real Hobbit house- just like Bag End. I'm with the rest- this didn't strike me as 'authentic'... what with the amenities inside... grumble grumble

Enjoyed the other comments! ;)
