I repeat, what IS it with Neatorama's obsession with guns?

We Neatorama authors are a diverse bunch with a broad range of interests to cover many different areas of neatness. I happen to have an interest in guns, so I post about it occasionally, though not too often. Actually, arts and crafts constitute at least a third of my posted content.

Not to mention that guns, love them or hate them, had a tremendous impact on shaping history. It would be odd not to recognize their impact.

I like to see the swords to ploughshares thing in general, though since it's for a gun school it's a little less pleasing.
