My friends and I used to ride our bikes to the mall 5 miles away just to get to the arcade. Back then, the arcade always had the best and newest games and then a year or so later, the game would come out for Atari or Intellivision or the PC and would be measurable suckier than the arcade game. I remember spending hours at some podunk department store that somehow landed a Tag Team Wrestling cabinet.

Oh man, the hair, the jeans, the shorts! This was "my time", but I need an explanation - a scholarly analysis: "Why?!" Fun post, though.

I used to play Galaga 90 like... 90. I remember trying to win after taking the longest possible flight-path, without dying and without using the initial cheat that gave you dual ships. I don't think I ever quite succeeded.
