I'm pretty sure none of us leave this rock and at the end of our 80 we return to the dirt. Sans cell phone. Sans teeth. Sans everything.

Everyday it's the battle with the Self, few are victorious

Just because people have different interests than you or do things you do not like, understand or want to do. Does not give you the right to complain, be sarcastic or an asshole.

The word "worship" could be interpreted to mean; to give heightened importance to, or grant a sense of worth to. As in the Old english usage, c/o etymonline.org: O.E. worðscip, wurðscip (Anglian), weorðscipe (W.Saxon) "condition of being worthy, honor, renown," from weorð "worthy" (see worth) + -scipe (see -ship).

In that sense, attending to ones cell phone as if it held importance, or through some adoration or honoring, could be synonymous with worship.
