15 Websites That Forbid You from Linking to Them

Yes, there are websites that forbid people to link to them. I'm not sure if that's a legally enforceable demand, but they make it anyway. Malcolm Coles has descriptions of (with links to) fifteen websites that disallow linking, including BBC Magazines:

How about all the Gawker media blogs? The new design means you pretty much can't share a link with anyone (especially on facebook), as there's no garauntee the link will even work for them.

Wow, how ridiculous! Who actually reads those things? I link to the BBC all the time. God damn I pay my licence fee, I think I should be allowed to!
