Phoenix40-A Hexicopter Might Save Lives

This little six-bladed helicopter could be used to find people buried in rubble after disasters. It's remotely controlled, can detect motion and human breathing and is agile enough to use for surveillance in a variety of situations including detecting undetonated land mines.

The bot can penetrate reinforced concrete in a highly directed way by using a narrow beam of multi-gigahertz radio frequencies, in real time. It also has video cameras capable of imaging in day or night. Additionally, it can provide the layout of a multi-story building and travel to more than oneĀ GPS destination in a single trip.
