Adidas' Freaky Star Wars Ads

Dorothy Tang composed a series of posters to advertise Adidas' line of Star Wars-themed shoes. They're really weird. Tang's work reflects the classic movie posters, except with oddly-shaped children. You can view three more at the link.

It took some squinting before I realized that those shapes were their mouths and not bizarre little Hitler-esque moustaches.

These posters are designed as parodies of traditional Chinese New Year artwork, chubby babies and all. It all makes perfect sense if you know the reference.
