Cartographic problem. The map uses overlapping categories. A BIG nono.
But points for it's being normalized to per/1000.

Anyone have any idea how this data is classified?

Sorry but I get this list:

1) Monaco
2) Iceland
3) Brunei Darussalam
4) New Zealand
5) Puerto Rico

And my first though is: only Monaco makes sense; this list is bullshit.

How about: List of countries by carbon dioxide emissions?

1) China
2) United States
3) European Union
4) India
5) Russia
