Bench Presses Advertisement into Bare Thighs

The ad agency DDB Auckland altered benches to press an advertisement for Superette, a clothing chain in New Zealand, into the bare legs of people who sit on them. They read "Short shorts on sale Superette".

Only on TV and radio, and in magazines, and movies, and at ball games... and on buses and milk cartons and t-shirts, and bananas and written on the sky, and pressed into our skin. But not in dreams, no siree.

Must be a publicity stunt- I can't imagine people being too happy about having advertisements pressed onto their skin. I'd be quite p***ed if that happened to me or someone I care about.

Doesn't really seem fair to make people advertise your product without reimbursement. On the flip side, you don't necessarily want your product advertised on everyone that wears short shorts.
