Lion Gets Root Canal

Getting proper dental care is important for everyone, including lions.  Mumbasa, a lion at a Kansas zoo, recently learned this the hard way.  The lion chipped his tooth on his enclosure and had to endure a root canal.
They had 48 hours to save Mumbasa’s tooth before it was taken out for good. But there was only one way to do it – the same way anyone would. Mumbasa got a visit from the dentist.

Wonder how long the root canal will last. I've never heard of one lasting over a year in a human before the tooth became a problem and had to be dealt with again, usually by extraction.
