Christmas Tree Powered by Electric Eel

(YouTube link)

Kazuhiko Minawa of the Enoshima Aquarium in Japan developed a method of powering Christmas tree lights using an electric eel. Since at least 2007, his idea has been put to use in a local shopping center. Link -via Boing Boing

Just wait until the local gov'tr hears about this and shuts down the eel for promoting Christmas. Attack on Christmas, yet another violation of our rights. Add it to the list of gov’t violations of our right:
They violate the 1st Amendment by placing protesters in cages, banning books like “America Deceived II” and censoring the internet.
They violate the 2nd Amendment by confiscating guns.
They violate the 4th and 5th Amendment by molesting airline passengers.
They violate the entire Constitution by starting undeclared wars for foreign countries.
Impeach Obama and sweep out the Congress, except Ron Paul.

I think this is absolutely disgusting. That poor eel is probably so unhappy right now and I doubt they're going to do much with it once Christmas is over.

though I did love the panda article you posted - so much that I reposted it on my blog (www.thefeaturedcreature.com) with a link back of course :)
