Recirculating Gravy Fountain

interesting...more interesting if fast food chains or restaurants actually employ the idea :D

That thing looks, uh, splashy.

As in, "run it for three hours and gravy is no long circulating, but covering the device and surrounding area".

Besides as Brad stated that it looks "splashy" I also see a problem that, unless there is a heater somewhere along the system, the increased movement (and thereby contact with air) of the gravy will cause premature cooling. Tepid is definitely not how I enjoy my gravy. On the other hand, as Vim stated, it is no wonder restaurants don't employ this... kind of like those drink machines with the fountain inside to keep "juice" cold.

I really wish it were something else and not gravy...

Hilarious yet nasty is my first (and enduring) impression. 'Gravy' and 'fountain' are two words which shouldn't necessarily be put together... although from now on every runny foodstuff I see will poke the 'would this make a great fountain?' button. And oh, I want one!

I believe that a hot fudge fountain would have a more universal appeal. Or caramel. P-p-possibilities!

...as for an "eternal fountain of warm gravy"...I went to the link/site, and no mention of how they plan to keep the gravy warm. As for "eternal", I'll consider that term as poetic license.

These people need to get a more productive hobby/life.
