Logan's Run is one of the few films to actually need a remake as the 1976 film now looks very dated. I hope this happens after Brian Singers attempt to murder the project by making a bobbins Superman film nearly derailed production. Wikipedia says Alex Garland is currently writing the screenplay but they also say that the film version of Halo is being released in 2012 so what do they know. Also Sunshine is one of the greatest Sci-Fi films ever made except for the completely awful ending, but he did write 28 Days Later.
