In the old 1930s Fleischer Studios Popeye theatrical shorts, Jack Mercer was the voice of Popeye and Margie Hines the voice of Olive Oyl. They lived out the romance of the characters they played by getting married in 1939. The couple had spinach for their wedding breakfast. This information is making the rounds now because a rare publicity photo from the event is currently up for sale on eBay.

Margie Hine's worked with the fleischer studio's before Mae Questel even started doing any voice acting.
Margie Hines was the first person to voice the animated character Betty Boop in (1930). & besides another actress who also voiced Betty Boop, Bonnie Poe was first to voice Olive Oyl although her vocals was disliked. Although it's stated that Mae Questel created the ZaSu Pitts Impersonation for the Character Olive Oyl. so of course i agree Mae, should get alot of Credit.
Besides your forgetting Margie & Jack Mercer divorced. Margie Hines/Hientz/Heinz w/e her name was, was more of a Backup for Mae Questel so goes the same for the other vocals for Betty Boop & any other Character Mae voiced in the Fleischer Studio's years of Cartoon Creation/Voice Acting. Also not to mention Margie Hines has a Role in Mr Bug Goes to Town, as Mrs LadyBug, but she seem's to be uncredited.
