Hair Dryer Made by Ferrari Engineers

By John Farrier in Gadgets, Hacks & Mods on Aug 17, 2010 at 7:17 am

Ferrari engineers designed the electric motor for this hair dryer. It’s a fairly normal dryer, but the product specs make it sound like a high-performance vehicle:

FERRARI DESIGNED AC V12 engine
Powerful 2200W
Very long life up to 2000 hours
Airspeed 130km/hr
Airflow 95m3/hr
TURBO-shot instant boost airflow increases airflow pressure up to 15%
Intense air pressure 6.2 bar
Tri-port Ionic generator

It’s available in black as well as the traditional Ferrari red.

Ah, a much cheaper way to get your hair blowing in the winds than a convertible Ferrari!

    2200W at 120V = 18amps.

Yay, time to go buy some fuses :)

A hairdryer for 300 euros? I don’t think I have the cash for that neither.

This is not a hair dryer. It’s an industrial compressor. At least the spects say so. :)
