A New Look For Wonder Woman

After 69 years Wonder Woman has decided to wear a less revealing costume.
The new look — with an understated “W” insignia, a midnight blue jacket and a flinty fusion of black tights and boots — is darker than the famed swimsuit-style outfit, and aims to be contemporary, functional and, as Tim Gunn of “Project Runway” might say, less costumey.

Given the hope that the character will one day have her own international film franchise (a feature has long been gestating at Warner Entertainment, DC’s parent company), one test of the design was to imagine how it would look standing next to, say, Batman’s politically neutral ensemble. “The original costume was the American flag brought to life,” Mr. Lee said. “This one is a little more universal."

"When these characters become so branded that you can’t change things, they become ossified", said Jim Lee, while talking about a 69 years old character who, like every other Marvel/DC character, can't go through any kind of important development without it later being retconned, set in a parallel universe or undone through a pact with the devil to leave things the same place they were 40 years ago.

What's wrong with it being "political"? She's an American symbol. Are kids in Iran going to start reading Wonder Woman comics if she tones down?

Wonder Woman should remain in her original outfit and the new one should be seen when she changes just like when she changes into a motor bike costume. LINDA CARTER (best looking brunette in America)
I hope she will back in her original costume..
