Baby Jumping Festival

The Spanish festival known as El Colacho has included "baby jumping" since the 1600’s. If you are in the area in June, you can get your baby jumped over as well! See what that's all about in a video posted at NeatoBambino. http://www.neatorama.com/neatobambino/2010/05/14/castrilla-de-murcias-baby-jumping-festival/

Every culture has its odd traditions, but this one creeps me out.

You know, it used to be my tradition to wish people a Merry Christmas but I no longer do because I don't wish to offend someone that is of a different culture or belief so I just say Season's Greeting instead.

As the rest of the world has been forced to so politically correct it is time to revise this tradition and replace the actual babies with life size dolls, especially when the health and safety of babies are involved.

@Evilbeagle: There's a website that specializes in that. Only $9.95 a month. A friend of mine has a yearly subscription it. Yep, a friend. Not me. Nope, definitely not me...
