Scrolling LED Labels

Dutch distiller Medea Spirits came up with a clever advertising gimmick for their vodka: scrolling LED labels. You can even program them to express 6 of your own messages, each of which is up to 225 characters long. Video in the links.

Hey John, thanks so much for the mention! We certainly put a lot of attention into our packaging--which, just so you know, isn't just a limited-edition--but the best kept secret really is the vodka itself. We'd really suggest you check it out the next chance you get at your local bar, nightclub, or liquor store and see what you think. Medea is widely available in New York, Florida, Illinois, Nevada, and Southern California, and we'll be expanding in to more regions soon.

It's neat, but I've learned that the quirkier a label on a bottle of alcohol, the worse it probably is.

It usually means they're trying to compensate for poor quality with good personality. =/
