55 Tricks of Jason Bourne

Jason Bourne, a foreign service officer played by Matt Damon in several movies, is a wonderful character who uses really awesome tricks and tools to carry out missions. In this article, the Bourne movie series is dissected and numbered for your reading pleasure.

Bourne uses lockers provided by train and bus terminals to stash bags filled with money, weapons and identities he can use. This idea of creating caches was also detailed in Emergency.

Bourne fights using a type of martial arts that is a combination of Filpino Kali and Jeet Kune Do.

Do a web search for “Human Weapon Eskrima”. All techniques which are used with weapons can just as easily be used while unarmed. It’s a very addaptive martial art. Kali is used usualy when refering to the roots of the martial art, while eskrima is more modern.

I’ve never posted here before, but am a regular visitor.

Whilst, this may be “neat”, did anyone else think it was poorly written and just stated the bleeding obvious?

“the tip here is that money can get you places.” Seriously? This persons blog looks to be a hodge- podge of random “secret agent facts” that anyone with Google can find. Do people really think any of the knowledge presented on the blog is unique and/ or informative to anyone who has seen even one well researched film?

Lets remember also that the movies are based on Robert Ludlum’s books, its less “hick-like” to reference the original books.

I used to read a lot of Ludlum’s book, but stopped when I was reading something and thought it was so familiar … turned out I had read it before! That’s when I realized that his books were very formulaic.

I believe that “Super Awesome Human Weapon” would be a better description of Jason Bourne’s job title. I’m a foreign service officer and believe me, Jason Bourne is WAY more rad than a foreign service officer.
