World Sleep Day

March 19th is World Sleep Day. Did you get enough sleep today?
World Sleep Day is an international annual event, intended to be a celebration of sleep and a call to action on important issues related to sleep, including medicine, education, social aspects and driving. It aims to lessen the burden of sleep problems on society through better prevention and management of sleep disorders. World Sleep Day 2010 is being held on March 19th, under the slogan "Sleep Well, Stay Healthy".

Wow. Last night was the first proper night's sleep I've had all week. Unfortunately, I had a horrible headache this morning and ended up sleeping for half the day. I woke up to read neatorama and discover I'm a day late in my celebration of sleep day!

Lucky people! This week was finals week for some Californian public universities... I only got 5 hours last night... >_< I wish I could have joined you all.

Noting that the 19th was a work day, I observed this most holiest of holidays on Saturday by sleeping all day. And I woke up to snow on the ground in Texas when it was 60 degrees a few days ago. I'll never sleep again.
