i have my money on the lady rubbing his lower back to get him to respond. i have conversations with my cat that way all the time.
I can have conversations with my cat without tricks, per se.
Usually I just go: Fat cats say meow. He could also, sort of, say hello. But he stopped once he realized I’d feed him whether or not he said it.
Listen to the purr motor on him! LOL!
Our cat is deaf and she has conversations with everyone. loud conversations.
Awww. What a cute kitty.
Watching this makes me sad, though. My sweet little girl Kit N. sounded like this cat all the time. We lost her on Thursday. She was 10 years old.
I miss you, Kit N.
Ah Kelliente beat me to it. One of my cats answers like that too, but without the purring and a lot…ruder if that is possible.
Our cat talks to us. Specially when he’s sleepy and we wake him. He’ll still be half asleep squeeking at us. It’s adorable.
I think the owner is mostly saying the cat’s name and nicknames (Matsuko-san, Mat-chan), asking if he wants to eat (“Tabenai no?” “Gohan wa?”), asking if he’s sleepy (“Nemui desu ka?”) and making cat noises.
Heh cute.
How much do you wanna bet that *meow purr* translates to ‘Shut the f(*& up I’m trying to sleep here!’
