Scanning for Fever

By Miss Cellania in Health, Travel on Jan 13, 2010 at 1:36 pm

Not just in Tokyo — almost all airports have these now. I’ve seen them in Cuba, Costa Rica, Panama, Mexico, etc…

Had to walk through those kinds of scanners in Korea when the swine flu first broke out.

They were doing the same thing at the Tocumen airport in Panama City in May 09, but not when I went back last week… And they wouldn’t let you keep the pictures, I asked.

I saw this in Hong Kong two or three years ago.
I’m glad I got to fly business class from SFO otherwise I might have been sweaty enough from flying economy to set off the alarms anyway :-D
