Stained Glass d20

By John Farrier in Arts & Crafts on Nov 21, 2009 at 9:35 pm

John F. Talarico of the podcast show Bloodthirsty Vegetarians created two 20-sided dice out of stained glass and black and copper patina. The orange one is called “Fire.” There are more detailed images in the flickr photostream.

Very pretty, but I'd be reluctant to throw them.

Not exactly practical (I wouldn't try to use them), but visually striking.

lol that'd suck, having your natural 20 put into question because all the glass broke.

Thanks for the mention - yeah, I've rolled them once or twice on a soft surface, but I'd try to avoid using them in a real game. Besides, they'd do as much damage to the table as themselves. Lead and glass are dense. :)

If anyone is interested, I'm still making them to order:
