this was almost exclusively US centric, what about yasser arafat’s death? benazir bhutto’s assassination? china hosting the olympics? Seems like the states for more than 75% of the airtime in this one.
Am I the only one who finds this vaguely depressing – as in “don’t remind me…”

i kept thinking about how many important international things happened that didn’t even get mentioned…but then something like rickrolling made the list.
pretty narrow perspective from the people who made this.
Yeah, you need the rickrolling and stuff like that to pepper the news with comic relief, but it could have been so much more interesting if it wasnt’ so US-Centric.
But then, what do you expect?
