pwscott and Lady Helena Handbasket…count me in on that. I usually got a bit of rum or brandy. My husband got brandy. We lived. But yeah, if I had kids, I’d be drinking the alcohol myself.

My mum put brandy in my milk to help me sleep. When I had my own children I didn’t do this – I drank the brandy myself instead.

I guess it’s better than the liquor they slipped into my Grandfather’s milk when he was a baby. Sleepy time. :p
