But they aren’t on my side, nor are they my people. If a terrorist wants to tattoo himself with the names of his fallen comrades, he’s welcome to do so, but I only celebrate those that aren’t out to kill me or my people.

Last time I checked, the “War on Terror” was more of a shot in the dark aimed at distracting the American public rather than a heroic liberation attempt. Other me-too nations just jumped on the bandwagon.
