Love bats, weird faces or cute ones. They’re so interesting and I love watching their weirdly awkward flying right before it gets too dark outside to see them.

Bats are the weirdest little mammals. The various species either have a completely adorable face, or a completely disgusting one. There dosn’t seem to be much in the middle.

I knew a woman who volunteered with a bat rescue group. She had, among others, a little brown bat which couldn’t be released back to the wild for some reason. It clung to her collar, and at feeding time, it reached up with a tiny claw and chirped for attention. It was as sweet and interactive as any cat or dog. Witness that behavior, and you’d never again label bats as less than adorable.
