Crab looks already dead in the close-ups. It should have dived into the water! They didn’t mention it, but wouldn’t the eyes be the first to go?

The crab migration on Christmas Island is being decimated by ‘crazy ants’. These ants first blind them by spraying formic acid on their eyes.
