Winston Churchill Motivational Posters

The Art of Manliness blog has an excellent post turning the wits of Winston Churchill into stylish motivational posters.

I'd like to see Brett and Kate McKay of AoM Blog turn these favorite Churchill quotes of mine into a poster:

Bessie Braddock: Sir, you are drunk.
Churchill: And you, madam, are ugly. But in the morning, I shall be sober.

and

Lady Nancy Astor: Winston, if I were your wife, I'd poison your tea.
Churchill: Nancy, if I were your husband, I'd drink it.

I think the important thing to notice here is the huge nose on the man to the right of Winston in the photo (stripped suit and hat guy).

Hmmmm....I have a quote he should have said.

"Gallipoli - ooops to many 'results'"

Why do they always trot out those two quips where he's trading insults with women? Are those his only funny ones?

Those insults don't really have a place on AoM, because they are decidedly good examples of how NOT to be manly (just as his female counterparts were doing rather good impressions of unladylike behaviour).

“I do not understand the squeamishness about the use of gas. I am strongly in favour of using poison gas against uncivilised tribes." Winston "Saddam" Churchill on the Kurds.
