“The Berlin Reunion” is the name of this France’s Royal de Luxe street theatre performance where massive marionettes entered the city of Berlin, Germany.

She, and her father, made an ever lasting impression in Reykjavik 2007, see http://www.art-iceland.com/risessan-isl.html

I was there and saw them walking through the streets of Berlin. It was not creepy at all, it was wonderful. And amazing to see how many people went to see them, the city was packed! It's been a long time that so many people came together to watch something seemingly silly and childish as it sounds/looks like. Keeping in mind that there were several terrorist warnings as well for this event. Nice demonstration of how terrorists failed to intimidate citizens of Berlin. We are not afraid!

We had Big Man Walking on the island where I live a couple of weeks back. They were inspired by this.

Big Man Walking is an eight metre tall blue man who is travelling around Scotland at the moment. There are some great videos (including three of the puppet girl above) on the Big Man Walking website - http://www.bigmanwalking.com
