My father lived to be very old, drank soda a lot, was never fat and never had diabetes, so I don’t know where B.M. is getting his/her information from, unless he/she qualifies for being fat and diabetic, or unless he/she is just a young kid and hasn’t had much experience around people?
Coke Blak was not Blech as far as I’m concerned. I bought it all the time, so I don’t know how they thought it wasn’t selling. I don’t think there is anything disgusting about any of those flavors, if I could find some of them here in the U.S., would be great. I did have Pepsi Jazz flavors; they were awesome. Every time I find something good, they take it off the market. It seems they marketed them to black people more, although I am white.

Most of these odd flavors were marketed in Europe and Asia, where exotic flavored soft drinks are much more popular. So, not necessarily a fail.

And in no way is/was Pepsi Twist “gross.”

Wow – I was not aware that B.M. lived in Naruru.
According to the World Health Organization that is the country with the fatest and unhealthiest people.

A few of those flavors would be disgusting to a western palette. I liked Pepsi Blue.
I remember Pepsi had a flavor in the Philippines (circa late 70′s) that was called Tutti-Fruitti.
It tasted much like Big Red.

I am 43 and never had a pepsi, and less than 10 cokes. I have made up for it with other toxins though.

Only busybodies and nanny-wannabes rag on people who drink soda pop anyway. Who cares what justification they give for it? It’s just a desire to run other people’s lives. If Americans spent as much time on their own business or on aiding people who genuinely need (and want) their help as some of them do on criticizing others’ diets, we might have a happier nation, instead of a budding nanny state infested with pinch-faced scolds.

No list of disgusting Pepsi products is complete without Pepsi Kona. That’s right. Coffee-flavored Pepsi. Every bit as vile as it sounds. And Coke made one too – Coke Black (we called it Coke Blech).

Only fat ass future diabetics drink soda pop anyway. Who cares what they call it; it’s just sugar and coloring. If people spent half as much on vitamins and quality food as they did on sugar water, we might not have the most unhealthy nation on earth.

Moxie!! So hard to find in central usa. You can buy it online but a Rolls Royce is about the same price.
Has a hell of a bite and a very caffeinated flavour.

Yogurt soft drinks have been around in Asian countries for a while. They’re not carbonated and they taste very similar to Sprite. I enjoy the flavor, but when I invite others to try it, I don’t tell them it’s “yogurt flavor”. They won’t come near it if I tell them that. When they try it for the first time, they usually describe it as “lemony” or “kind of like Sprite”.

Subjective list. Failures of marketing aren’t the same as failures of taste. In other words, no, we can’t all agree that those flavors are all downright awful.

I’m probably alone in this, but I actually liked Crystal Pepsi when I first tried it. Novelty and reality blend in my world, and I was so excited that a drink that looked like 7-Up tasted like Pepsi.

But when it disappeared from shelves I barely noticed.

Pepsi Twist has been around before, except it was called Pepsi Light. I remember it coming out in the mid-70s. It was okay, for Pepsi.
