		<description>I watched something on youtube. The submersible came upon a dead whale on the sea floor. And it took sharks, hagfish, etc etc a year to eat to the bone. It was really interesting.</description>

		<description>I was on a cruise to the Antarctic where we recovered some whalebones.  The smell was almost unbearable.  And I think one of the PI&#039;s on that cruise was part of this team, as the critter pictured here is named after him.  Such narcissism, Craig!</description>

		<description>Whalefalls are really amazing. There was an Attenborough programme about one a while back - the incredible activity that follows such a large pile of food arriving in such a delicate environment is so complex.</description>
