Slow Moscow from Andrey Stvolinsky on Vimeo.

Here is an amazingly gorgeous slow motion captured video by Andrey Stvolinsky. The music by Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble helps give this video that added surreal noir factor that makes this video quite enjoyable. Also, here’s something fun to do while watching…look at the people’s eyes it’s quite trippy as they walk by but their eyes are fixed on you the viewer. ;)

Yet another example of how music makes the video. Nobody would give a rat’s ass about this if the soundtrack wasn’t so moody and edgy.

This reminds me of an old post of yours about David Coiffier, Ali. Good times!

Am I the only one who finds it weird that the still frame above shows someone walking on money? Looks like US and foreign currency? (o_O)

seefish3: Exactly right. A person can take ANY video clip, slow it down and add serious music, and presto: Now it’s all profound and “poignant.” It’s a cheat.

seefish3 – since I usually have the speakers turned down I just went and watched again but with the sound turned up. Nope – wasn’t the sound that made it.

check out the visuals with deerhunter’s helicopter over the top of it… brings a really joyous tone to it all, kinda weird because this version is so DARK! http://vimeo.com/15997064
