Gourmet soda maker Jones Soda has released five new flavors inspired by the role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons. They are Potion of Healing, Sneak Attack, Bigby’s Crushing Thirst Destroyer, Eldritch Blast, and Dwarven Draught. I hear that drinking any will add +2 to your constitution for 1d4 rounds.

    OK thats weird. I was just on Jones Soda's website a couple of hours ago and saw these and now they are on here. Freakin' odd!

    I was on there looking up more strange flavors because I went to the store earlier today and found a 4 pack of those small cans. They have a werewolf on the front of them and they are candy corn flavor. Not bad to be honest. I wish they weren't limited edition though.

    Wait - four new flavours but five new names? Who's double-dipping?

    You say four, show six, name five... Are the drinks a tad alcoholic, perhaps?

    Actually, it looks like there are six (Illithid Brain Juice is missing), unless two of them are the same flavor.

    Excellent marketing idea.

    I agree with the marketing concept being a good idea but it is nothing new. Soda companies have used video games as a way to get kids to drink them for many many years. It was only time untill they tried for the huge number of people who live WOW (World of Warcraft) day in and day out. It consumes many people's social life.

    @FishBottleT

    Yeah, but this is based on the pencil and paper roleplaying game, you know with figurines and dice?

    Well, regardless, I will give you that you pointed out that it's not a new idea.
