Tron is one of my all time favorite Sci-Fi movies and it’s a pleasure to see that almost three decades later, it’s still inspiring its fans. Here’s a fantastic diorama of the Tron Light cycles scene by Flickr user 2×4 we first spotted over at The Brothers Brick blog.

I love Tron - and my kids like it, too. Must have a root in the Lego box and see what I can come up with.

I wonder what the remake of Tron will be like - at first glance it appears to have missed the point and headed towards "improving" the graphics. Half the charm of the old film was that the graphics were clean and simple. In general remakes suck - I have little doubt this will differ.

    *Geekasm* That is SO awesome!

I'm really looking forward to the sequel. While I agree with Skipweasel that the simplistic graphics were charming, it makes sense that the digital world has evolved just like it has in real life.

Looking at the concept art for the film, it looks like the old lightcycles are still going to be around though :D . I'm hoping the glowing suites are too!

There is so many expectations for the remake, I wonder if we'll be satitisfied!
