He says "more on Star Wars corridors in a moment", but then never mentions it again.

Also he mentions the remake of Solaris, but makes no mention of the awesome colorful hallways complete with broken components hanging out, in the original.

Also no mention of Star Trek hallways is also puzzling.

I've always been bothered by the huge amounts of wasted space (smirk) in sci fi films. You realize of course that you have to heat and fill those huge corridors with AIR? Twenty foot ceilings...holodecks the size of warehouses...and don't get me started on the idiots who SMOKE in space...!

Too bad we are all now tainted and will never watch a sci-fi movie again without analyzing the corridors.

THANKS A LOT!

I've been obsessed with the Nostromo's corridors (well, and its airlock, too!) since the movie opened at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, where they had bits of the set, including the access corridor to "Mother" that we walked through.
Of course, Giger's "Space Jockey" was also on display.
So glad I got to see it before those religious zealots set it on fire (thinking that it was the work of the devil)!

Thanks! I'm a fellow corridor noticer. You should do another page on [usually basement] office building corridors and another on [usually abandoned] factory corridors [both as in chase scenes].

Lot of corridors missing but that seems to be the case with all the lists. The top movie/tv spaceships is missing B5 and the special effects is missing t2.

Interesting for those who have seen those movies. Unfortunately, I haven't seen most of those. I wish he had looked at some Star Trek and Star Wars corridors because there is a whole lot there and newer sci-fi fans today have almost certainly seen them.

I'm reminded of, in David Gerrold's book about the making of "The Trouble With Tribbles", or maybe in his WORLD OF STAR TREK book, he mentions telling the production designer his script only calls for 3 sets "and some corridor."

The production designer screams, "Corridor? Do you know how much corridor costs PER FOOT?!"

This is actually a fabulous idea for a geeky scifi post, but nowhere near conclusive. Where's Westworld? Or THX1138? Or Starlost (That whole thing was corridors!) I mean, they included Saturn 3, so all bets are off, right? A great idea overall, but only a C+ for execution.
