Just a highlight, the real video or the real owner is Chow (www.chow.com). They recorded this series called "Obsessives". As you can see here: http://www.chow.com/videos

It'll be nice if a link for them. By the way, I don't work for them, but I like their site. :)

... Anyone remember The Pop Shoppe?

Mind you it was real Popular back in the '70's in Canuck land.

    Anyone?

I totally remember The Pop Shoppe! It was awesome, you could get all sorts of flavours and the pop was in those cool stubby bottles.

OMG. This blew my mind. Bubble Up?! I've only been able to find that soda back in Pakistan! I used to drink a ton of that when I was little at my Grandma's place. Pineapple cream soda...now that I would love to try.

Man, I remember RC Cola...it's true what he says it was a softer cola compared to Coca Cola or Pepsi.

K!P - Wikipedia says the EU has a production quota on HFCS which is why it hasn't replaced sugar in most products.

I love this store! My partner is from LA, and whenever we go to visit his folks we always stop by. They do awesome shipping, too, if you ever order online. I crave the cherry Moxie and the mint julep soda they have there. It is truly the mecca of soda :D
